Overview

The End User Support Intern will assist as front-line support for all systems by responding to Help Desk requests and providing timely solutions. As an intern you will provide on-site and remote troubleshooting and technical support which includes network connectivity, PC hardware, software, peripheral configuration, and applications for all areas of the company including Corporate Offices, Support Operations, and Retail Stores.

Responsibilities

  • Gain familiarity with the company environment and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve requests concerning hardware and software utilizing remote management tools with minimal supervision.
  • Interface and coordinate with IT personnel, internal customers, and vendors to facilitate troubleshooting.
  • Assist with PC requisitions, equipment inventory, and equipment repair process.
  • Assist with other assignments as requested by management.

Qualifications

  • REQUIRED
    • Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university, as a junior, senior, or graduate student (in good standing.)
    • Must be pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field of study.
    • Skills or interests related to troubleshooting hardware, software, networks, and front-line technical issues.
    • Must have successfully completed at least 12 credit hours in computer technology or math related coursework.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
    • Must be at least 18 years of age.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS: Interns must be able to adapt and perform in a rapidly changing work environment. Must be able to sit for long periods of time and use computer keyboard and/or mouse while viewing the computer screen.
